On 1 July 2026, the final conference of the CROSSFREIGHT project was held in Trieste, where the results of successful cooperation between partners from Croatia and Italy under the Interreg Italy–Croatia Programme were presented.
The project focused on developing digital solutions to improve the integration of rail and port transport and modernise cross-border logistics processes. During the conference, particular emphasis was placed on the continued use of the developed solutions to ensure their long-term value and contribution to the future development of European rail freight transport.
Among the seven project partners from the public and private sectors was TRANSAGENT RAIL Ltd., which played an active role in the development and testing of digital solutions. The project also promoted the exchange of knowledge and expertise, reaffirming the importance of international cooperation in advancing innovation within the rail sector.
